How to Share File/Folder and Manage Access to Wasabi Storage
Wasabi is a cloud platform that provides Object Storage, allowing companies to store large volumes of files. One of the key challenges with Object Storage is efficiently sharing files and folders. NirvaShare, a secure file sharing software, effectively addresses this issue. In this document, we will outline the steps to configure file sharing from Wasabi storage using NirvaShare, enabling efficient and secure file and folder sharing with users.
Prerequisites for Wasabi File Sharing
Installing NirvaShare in your system environment is a prerequisite for sharing files or folders from Wasabi object storage. This document provides a detailed, step-by-step procedure to guide you through the installation and configuration process.
Wasabi Storage Configuration
The next important step is configuring Wasabi storage in NirvaShare using Form-based authentication, which is essential for enabling file sharing. Please refer to the link below for detailed configuration instructions.
Form based Authentication
NirvaShare supports various authentication methods. In this tutorial, we will use the basic Form-based authentication to create a login profile. Please refer to the documentation below to create a login profile.
Shares
Once the above steps are completed, you can begin sharing files from Wasabi object storage using Form-based authentication. To start, create a folder share. Refer to the document below for instructions on creating a new share from storage. During the share configuration process, be sure to select the login profile created in the previous section. This login profile can be reused for one or multiple shares.
